About OCCA
Fourteen countries make up the geographical area of Oceania and the Oceanian Cultural Association in Denmark - OCCA - wants to connect the oceanian communities in Denmark in new ways.
Almost antipodean to each other, many citizens of Oceania have found Denmark to be their home and our dream is to build a home for this diverse community. A way for Australians, New Zealanders and Pacific Islanders to connect with each other and introduce the history, culture, arts and opportunities of home.
Building on events and social events, we aim to host a creative and adventurous space where ideas and networks flow and where the building of new connections foster new friendships and propel new potential into our amazing community.
Through these steps we mean to establish an Oceania House in Denmark by 2030. A permanent home for these exchanges and what would be the first of its kind in the world.
